Website Terms of Use

The terms governing your access to and use of GrandSlamIntelligence.com.

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

Welcome to GrandSlamIntelligence.com. These Website Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Grand Slam Intelligence website, including its content, sample materials, forms, reports, methodologies, and other resources made available through the site.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.

1. About Grand Slam Intelligence

Grand Slam Intelligence provides competitive intelligence, market research, strategic analysis, and management decision-support services.

Our work may include research concerning competitors, markets, positioning, websites, search visibility, customer acquisition, differentiation, opportunities, risks, and other business issues.

Grand Slam Intelligence is intended to help business leaders make better-informed decisions. It does not make business decisions on behalf of clients.

2. Website Information Is General in Nature

Content on this website is provided for general informational, educational, and promotional purposes.

Website content does not constitute individualized business, legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, or other regulated professional advice.

A Grand Slam Intelligence engagement is separate from your use of the public website and may be governed by a proposal, engagement letter, statement of work, invoice, agreement, or other written terms.

If there is a conflict between these Website Terms of Use and the terms of a signed client engagement, the applicable client engagement terms will control with respect to that engagement.

3. No Guarantee of Business Results

Competitive intelligence and strategic analysis involve judgment, assumptions, incomplete information, changing market conditions, and uncertainty.

Grand Slam Intelligence does not guarantee:

  • Increased revenue or profit
  • Particular search rankings
  • Lead volume
  • Customer acquisition
  • Market share
  • Competitive advantage
  • Successful implementation of a recommendation
  • Any particular financial or business outcome

Recommendations reflect the information and evidence reasonably available at the time of the analysis. Markets, competitors, technology, search results, pricing, regulations, customer behavior, and other conditions can change after research is completed. You remain responsible for evaluating recommendations and deciding whether and how to implement them.

4. Public-Source Competitive Intelligence

Grand Slam Intelligence uses lawful, publicly available information as part of its research process.

Sources may include company websites, public business listings, government sources, professional associations, search engines, news and industry publications, public reviews, publicly accessible social media, and other public information.

Research findings may involve interpretation and analytical judgment.

Grand Slam Intelligence does not claim that public-source research provides access to a competitor's confidential internal plans, proprietary information, trade secrets, or nonpublic records.

References to third-party companies, brands, products, or websites are for research, analysis, comparison, or identification purposes and do not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

5. Client-Supplied Information

Clients and prospective clients are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information they provide. You agree not to knowingly submit information that:

  • You do not have the right to provide
  • Violates another person's confidentiality or intellectual-property rights
  • Contains unlawful material
  • Contains malicious software or code
  • Misrepresents material facts

Grand Slam Intelligence may rely on client-supplied information when conducting analysis. If inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information is supplied, conclusions or recommendations may be affected.

6. Confidentiality

Grand Slam Intelligence treats client-specific strategic work as confidential in accordance with applicable engagement terms and business practices. We do not publish client reports, strategic findings, competitive vulnerabilities, recommendations, or nonpublic client information as marketing material without explicit client permission.

The existence of publicly available information about a client does not make Grand Slam Intelligence's private analysis, conclusions, or recommendations public.

Public competitive intelligence. Private strategic conclusions.

Specific confidentiality obligations for a paid engagement may also be addressed in the applicable engagement agreement.

7. Sample Reports and Illustrative Material

Grand Slam Intelligence may provide sample reports, illustrations, examples, scorecards, strategic frameworks, or fictional scenarios to demonstrate the methodology and type of analysis a client may receive.

The Harborline Custom Builders sample reports are demonstration reports involving a fictional company and fictional business circumstances. Publicly available market or competitive information may be used within sample materials to demonstrate research methods.

Sample findings should not be interpreted as advice for your company or as representations concerning results that another company has achieved.

Sample reports do not guarantee that every client report will contain identical sections, findings, recommendations, length, design, or conclusions. Each engagement depends on the client's objectives, available evidence, research findings, and circumstances.

8. Artificial Intelligence and Research Technology

Grand Slam Intelligence may use artificial intelligence, software, research platforms, analytical tools, and other technology to assist with research, organization, analysis, drafting, and quality control.

These technologies are tools within the research process.

Grand Slam Intelligence's service is not represented as access to a proprietary omniscient database, confidential competitor information, or guaranteed prediction system.

Research findings and recommendations should be evaluated in light of the evidence, assumptions, limitations, and business context described in the applicable engagement.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content, branding, design, reports, frameworks, methodologies, graphics, text, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Grand Slam Intelligence and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Protected materials may include original reports, written analysis, graphics, website content, report structures, frameworks, and methodologies.

You may view and use public website materials for your own legitimate informational evaluation of Grand Slam Intelligence services. Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not:

  • Reproduce or republish substantial portions of the website or reports
  • Sell, sublicense, or commercially distribute Grand Slam Intelligence materials
  • Remove copyright or attribution notices
  • Present Grand Slam Intelligence research or methodology as your own
  • Create or sell substantially copied versions of proprietary reports, frameworks, or materials
  • Use website content to falsely suggest affiliation with or endorsement by Grand Slam Intelligence

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Grand Slam Intelligence intellectual property to you.

10. Permitted Use of the Website

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to:

  • Gain unauthorized access to the website, server, forms, accounts, systems, or data
  • Interfere with website operation or security
  • Introduce malicious code
  • Circumvent security or access controls
  • Submit fraudulent engagement requests
  • Use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts or burdens the website
  • Harvest personal information from the website
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Use the website to violate applicable law or the rights of others

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business, our clients, or others.

11. Third-Party Content and Links

The website or Grand Slam Intelligence reports may reference or link to third-party companies, websites, publications, data, products, services, or other resources.

Third-party content is provided for convenience, research, attribution, or analytical context.

Grand Slam Intelligence does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, privacy practices, security, products, services, or content.

A reference or link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

12. Accuracy and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate website information, but we do not warrant that all website content will always be complete, current, error-free, or available.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party services, security issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may modify, remove, or update website content without prior notice.

13. Engagement Requests

Submitting a Start an Engagement form does not create a consulting relationship, obligate Grand Slam Intelligence to accept an engagement, or guarantee availability.

An engagement begins only when the parties complete whatever acceptance, payment, proposal, agreement, or other onboarding process Grand Slam Intelligence requires for that engagement.

Information submitted before an engagement is accepted will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Fees and Payment

Fees vary based on the service, scope, and type of engagement. Applicable fees, payment terms, and any other financial terms will be disclosed to the client before an engagement begins and, where applicable, documented in the proposal, scope of work, engagement agreement, invoice, or other applicable engagement documentation.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grand Slam Intelligence will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the public website or reliance on general website content.

Grand Slam Intelligence is not responsible for business losses resulting from decisions made solely in reliance on general public website materials.

Any limitations applicable to a paid client engagement may be separately addressed in the applicable engagement agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the public website and its general content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Grand Slam Intelligence disclaims warranties regarding the uninterrupted availability, completeness, accuracy, or fitness of general website content for a particular business decision.

This provision does not replace or modify any express obligations contained in a separate written client engagement agreement.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your violation of these Terms, or material you knowingly submit without the right to do so.

This provision does not apply to the extent a claim results from Grand Slam Intelligence's own unlawful conduct.

18. Governing Law

These Website Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable federal law or another jurisdiction's mandatory law requires otherwise.

Any dispute concerning use of the public website will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts having lawful jurisdiction in Arkansas, unless applicable law requires another venue.

Terms governing a specific paid engagement may contain separate dispute-resolution or venue provisions.

19. Changes to These Terms

Grand Slam Intelligence may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in the website, services, technology, business practices, or applicable requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the website after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

21. Entire Website Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement governing use of the public Grand Slam Intelligence website.

They do not replace a separate written agreement governing a paid Grand Slam Intelligence engagement.
